Am I the only one surprised to hear Bowling for Soup play something serious? Maybe I'm just too used to seeing their corny MTVs.

Anyway. I'm still wondering why I shot myself in the foot and took up "Spiritual Authority". PEW said that tithing was one of the toughest topics a preacher could touch on. Well, spiritual authority probably isn't too far behind in the rankings. It's a catch 22 situation- only somebody with authority has the right to go up and talk about authority, and yet for somebody in authority to preach about authority sounds almost self-promoting.

I suppose being a brand new youth worker does give me the privilege of claiming ignorance if I mess this one up. Wait! Don't crucify me just yet - that was just my human side speaking. Deep down I still know that I just need to be faithful and share what God has placed in my heart. Let Him do His thing you know. Oh yes. I really have to stop using "you know".

I'm in a really good mood today - mainly cos I just satisfied my BK craving. Mmmmm. Hashbrowns. *drool* So yeah. This would probably be a good day for people to ask me for favors.
