Eating croissants puts me in a very good mood (bonus happy points if they're chocolate coated).

I think the sports event on Saturday was pretty cool. Besides having an unprecedented number of newcomers, it also showed that things can still move without me getting involved in the planning process. Now I can really step back from all the hands-on organising and focus on other aspects of ministry, knowing that we've got a great team who can pretty much run stuff with minimal hand-holding.

Oh and Jia and her team did a really nice job with the abandoned classroom. At least now it looks like a much better place to bring our visitors to after the service. And they've managed to remove the emo "I don't wanna come to church anymore" messages from the whiteboard. It's amazing just what they can do with spoilt brushes and dried up paint.
