Just when the blisters were getting better, I had to go play the bass again. With the 11am service and the Good Friday + Easter combo, my fingers are really gonna get abused big time this week. And all because I have delicate fingers.

Well I'm feeling really bad now. I wasn't out to send anybody on a guilt trip when I made that post about the things people expect youth workers to do. It was to me more of a humorous statement, but I think I've scared off Aunty Nancy. Despite reassuring her that I wasn't mad, I don't think she'll be forwarding any more complaints to me in the near future. Hmm. Maybe that's a good thing. Muahahaha. Disclaimer: I'm kidding. Really. If I'm not happy with somebody I usually get convicted to pull a Matthew 18 and go talk it out with said person. Unless it's somebody higher up the food chain. Like our dear pastors. In that case all I can do is just suck thumb and cry in my little corner. Yes I'm messing around again. You really shouldn't take the things I say on my blog seriously.

Anyway. I've got my new bass strap! So happy. 3cm longer, and it makes a world of difference. Playing the bass now comes with 30% more fun. Let me get used to twisting my arm to hit the fretboard and I'll soon get another strap that's 3cm longer than this one. The lower the better, I always say. Maybe I should just switch to playing the cello or the double bass. Hmmmm.
