So it's crunch time again as I try and clear all my outstanding stuff before I ORD. One of the biggest things on my to-do list is to design the flag for my unit. I can't stand it. They know I'm not formally trained in design - in fact the only reason the arrow came my way was that our design guru is happily clearing his leave, while I was stuck in camp. Kinda sucks to know that I'm their silver medal. The backup. The second choice. But anyway.

I actually did this pretty nice preliminary with a white background, but then some body higher up the food chain decided that red would be a nicer background. And when you add all the various other requirements, I'm not exactly proud to say that the flag was designed by me, if you get my meaning. I still think my preliminary design is much better. Bah.

The most recent item on their wishlist - they want a scroll below our logo. Will somebody PLEASE tell me how to create a scroll in photoshop because I'm completely clueless. And when even the almighty Google can't help, you know that something is seriously wrong. Heck, even our photoshop guru has no idea. So anyway. That was about a week ago, and they want to see my design next week. This is where I start sobbing.
