So it's quite a nice surprise to get birthday greetings from people you don't really expect one from. Thanks for all the smses (and even testimonials) peeps! Though some of you probably don't go blog hopping.

Guard duty tommorrow. Honestly I won't mind the prowling kind of guard duty since at least I'm doing something useful, and I can at least hold a rifle again after so long (I miss those AR-15 days). No, my duty involves me rotting away in the ops room, with explicit orders not to leave under any circumstances. I forgot to ask if I could go for toilet breaks. Gotta stock up on the entertainment. Hope there's something good on tv tommorrow night.
