A little update on the YF webbie - the cheque should be signed and approved tommorrow and by this week the web hosts should receive the cheque and start the domain renewal process. It's moving alot slower than I'd like, but I've been resisting the urge to pay the domain bill out of my own pocket since that would just bring more complications in future.

So the domain expiring has had several consequences ranging from mild annoyances (like worship ministers being unable to check the roster) to more severe aftereffects (like being unable to upload alot of No Conditions campaign stuff). I'm really sorry for all this. My fault. Should have followed up last year and made sure my instructions were understood and carried out by the web hosts. Anyhow, the webbie should be back up within 2 weeks. On a further note I really can't stand how fast the money grabbing domain squatters parked on our youthfusiononline address. That site you see when you try visiting the YF webbie? It's not a YF site, but the links are all cunningly disguised to appear relevant to YFers. Can you say spam? I just wanna quickly pay the renewal of the domain and get our address back.

So after commenting that I would be playing alot less drums from now, I've suddenly been blessed with even more opportunities to play. There's the mini musical thing for Easter coming up and this Tues I'll be playing with the team from Cornerstone Church as they lead chapel service at Fairfield. I have no idea how I'm getting to Buona Vista by 6.30 in the morning, but we'll see. I'm actually more stressed with the actual playing since there won't be any rehearsal (except for the sound checks?) and the Cornerstone team is just simply, good. If you thought our worship ministry standards were high, wait till you see the Cornerstone standards. You'd have to like increase our standards twofold to meet theirs in terms of spiritual health and technical skill. Time to take out that metronome again.
