My finger still hurts. Is it even possible to suffer a cut in your flesh without breaking skin? Anyway. I've not been able to practice on the bass for 3 days because of said finger. By tommorrow even if it's still not recovered I'm gonna practice all the same, pain be damned.

So it's that time of the year again where couples get lost in a world of their own - a world where butterflies flutter around and birds sit in trees singing and all the other animals hang out in pairs while romantic music plays in the background. The singles on the other hand go out on group dates with other singles and start lamenting the high cost of dining out on St. Valentine's.

Tommorrow would usually be the hangover day for the guys. It's the day guys wake up and go "What on earth was I thinking???" and start calculating how long they would have to live on instant noodles to recoup their losses. Amanda was just telling me last night about how somebody lavished a thousand bucks on her friend even though he was just drawing a 2 thousand dollar salary. Who in the right mind blows off 600 bucks for a wallet on a girl?

I tell you, girls have it easy on Valentines.

Anyway. I'm probably taking Koon and An Fu's advice and wait for Swee Lee to have it's next sale before buying a bass. The specific bass I'm looking for is out of stock anyway. I did however see an Ibanez bass that looks alot like that Gretsch bass I was raving about a few days ago. And it only costs 700 odd, lightyears apart from the 2000 price tag attached to the Gretsch. Can't say if it sounds the same though.
